HILLARY SPHINX II

Hillary Sphinx 2 is the second sphinx for the presidential candidate. I will be making sphinxes of American political women until one becomes president, hopefully in my lifetime. My first Hillary Sphinx was made while she was first lady, and this one was made when she was a senator, carefully honing her skills for a future run for the presidency. Made in  2007, in stoneware ceramic, she is 17″ h x 13″ w x 7″ d (private collection).
